Damask Bedlinen Collection is an extension of a lifelong dedication to craftsmanship - one that began quite simply, with a needle and thread.
WHERE IT BEGAN
At just eight years old, founder Jacqui Edwards made her first dress guided by her mother’s instinctive knowledge of sewing and natural fibres. What started as a quiet lesson at home became a lifelong language-one shaped by fabric, form and enduring respect for how things are made.
The foundation grew into a career in design and textiles, working within a family business and eventually building a network of fabric stores. In 1997, this experience came to life as Damask bedlinen - a collection of 100% Cotton Damask (Australian made) designed for longevity and a kind of sleep that feels truly restorative. From its beginnings at Balmain markets, the brand expanded across Paddington markets, Bondi, Manly and Beyond, Including the Royal Easter show, Floriade Canberra before settling into its flagship home in Balmain.
The brand Arabella continues the same ethos story reimagining that same craftsmanship in a wearable form.
Launched in 2016, we love selling the Arabella brand. The Collection brings together breathable cotton voile, traditional block printing, screen printing and delicate 100% cotton hand finish details.
Designed in Australia and crafted in India it honours artisanal techniques while embracing modern ease and comfort.
Each piece carries the same DNA comfort, grace and considered design.

Designed in Australia and crafted in India, it honours generations of Cotton weaving and block & screen printing, where time honoured techniques meet a modern ease.
Each piece is crafted from 100% Cotton, from airy voile to soft cambric, light on the skin, breathable by nature, and designed to move effortlessly between rest and routine.
Defined by delicate details: crisp whites, fine laces and trims, soft gathers and intricate embroidery. A pallet of pastels and vintage inspired prints - poppies trailing florals and secret garden motives - bring a sense of nostalgia to every piece.
